Private Health Fund Rebates
Individual Consultations are rebatable through most private health funds. The rebate will depend on your level of cover, please call your health fund to see what rebate you will be entitled to.

Medicare Rebates
Healthy Balance dietitians are registered with the Health Insurance Commission and for some chronic conditions, your GP may choose to refer you to Healthy Balance under a team care plan. Medicare rebates apply for eligible Enhanced Primary Care patients.

Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA)
Healthy Balance is a provider for the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA). If you have a Gold card you will not have to pay for your visit to the dietitian. Healthy Balance dietitians are also available for home visits if required. If you are DVA eligible, please see your GP for a referral prior to seeing the dietitian.

Cancellation
Please contact the medical practice or allied health centre at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled consult if you wish to reschedule or cancel your appointment.
