Healthy Balance has been a provider of allied health services to the veteran community since 2014 and is proud to provide allied health in-home care to eligible ex-service Australians and war widows/widowers and dependants through the Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) program.
All Healthy Balance allied health professionals are registered with the Department of Human Services and are registered to provide health services to entitled persons under DVA and the Coordinated Veterans’ Care (CVC) program.
Our passionate allied health team take a patient centred approach to support the individual needs of the veteran. Some of the services available under the DVA program include:
To be eligible for an allied health consultation you must hold a Gold DVA health card or white DVA health card (prior approval and specific condition) treatment.
If you are an entitled veteran with a chronic condition(s) and require treatment, please discuss your needs with your doctor to obtain a D904 or referral letter.
DVA Health Cards (Gold and White – for specific conditions) are accepted as payment upon a GP referral.
