We are currently seeking Mobile Allied Health Professionals to join the Healthy Balance Team.  Both part-time and casual contractor roles are available.

The Opportunity
You will be working in the community providing allied health services to aged care and disability clients. Your role will focus on the assessment and provision of therapy and advice to maximise client independence and functionality.
Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Deliver best practice clinical care to age care and disability clients in a community setting;
  2. Maintaining thorough and accurate reporting and documentation; and
  3. Liaise with other Healthy Balance allied healthcare professionals, as well as GPs and registered nurses to exchange information about the background and progress of patients.

To be successful in this role you will require:

  1. The ability to work effectively and with empathy, with people of all ages from varying cultural backgrounds
  2. Demonstrated ability to work under minimal direct supervision and exercise independent professional judgement
  3. Strong report writing and time management skills
  4. Must hold professional indemnity insurance and ABN
  5. AHPRA and/or Medicare Registration
  6. A current police check (or willingness to obtain)
  7. A current Australian driver’s license and your own insured reliable vehicle
